Disgusted by Bush's Confusion on Christ

More evidence surfaces that George Bush hasn't a clue theologically.
I was floored by (though I shouldn't be surprised) a post on another blog, by Bret McAtee, , in which he has some quotes from an interview on Good Morning America:

Gibson Question -- War on Terror, Bush's Answer -- Not a religious war.

Gibson Question -- Do we all worship the same God, Christians and Muslims?
Bush's Answer -- Yes, we do.

Gibson Question -- Does Bin Laden worship the same God?
Bush's Answer -- No he worships a false god.

Gibson Question -- Do Christians and Muslims both go to heaven?
Bush's Answer -- Yes they do, they take different routes to get there.

So it is increasingly apparent that George W. Bush holds the postmodern "Christian" positions that a large number of people who claim to be Christian hold - and that most Americans, Christian claim or not, hold. That is, he seems, though we continue to refer to him as a good Christian president - to support a goodly number of ideas (and act on them!) that are, rather anti-Christian positions. Christ, Muhammad, Buddha, who cares? All go to heaven. This is run-of-the-mill universalism, and the view of our President. And Christian groups are telling me that, if I am faithful to my Christianity, I have to vote for this postmodern idiocy? Bush stuck his foot in his mouth here, but then again, I do believe that he is completely sincere when he offers these insipid positions. He clearly is confused about who Christ is - and about who false religions worship. I wonder what he thinks of Christians who believe what the Bible says about false religions like Islam? I suspect he doesnt' regard them any differently than does John Kerry.

Man...I have no words to express my sadness at these replies if they are true.

On a seperate note, do you believe in the Big bang? Evolution? Just curious.
