First there was The Passion. And now, a new book sold by Christian Book Distributors takes idolatrous speculations to new lows...
The Day I was Crucified, by Gene Edwards. Description: One of the most moving depictions of the death and resurrection of Christ ever presented! Written from Jesus' viewpoint, this first-person account captures the pain, suffering, and incredible love of the Savior as he contends with powers and principalities from the cross. Witness the destruction of sin and death, and rejoice in Christ's victory! 214 pages, softcover from Destiny Image.
It's bad enough that an actor was willing to try to portray the God-man on screen. Now we have an author making the audacious claim to be able to write in the guise of Christ! Is our society SO impoverished mentally that the words of Scripture aren't enough? Must we resort to blasphemous acts to "make the gospel attractive"?
heh, that is really messed
