This weekend I am preaching at a student worship service on campus at Luther. My message will be very straightforward, and simple - a call to the utter need to look completely away from onesself and to trust in the only solution there is for the perilous destiny that all men face because of sin. I have entitled the message "Look Unto Jesus", and my texts are Numbers 21:4-9 and John 3:14-15. The worship service is an evening service, essentially for students, though some faculty sometimes attend. It's a unique opportunity to speak a firm and sure word to people who aren't necessarily used to hearing it. Please pray that hearts would be touched and consciences broken by the Gospel.
