I was shocked and appalled, as many have been this past week, to hear of the unveiling one of the most audacious promotions of murder as a civil right that I've ever seen about. Planned Parenthood now has in stock shirts that "assert a powerful message in support of women's rights."
What message is that?
It's simple: "I HAD AN ABORTION"
This is supposed to be something women can "proudly" declare to the world, as an assertion of their rights as women. This country is going faster into the toilet by the day.
Check out the excellent comments by Mike S. Adams on this horrific expression of evil.
Posted by toddpedlar at July 31, 2004 04:27 PM | TrackBackThis country is going down the toilet to your standards. However, this country does not go by one's standards. I don't agree about the t-shirts but they have a choice to live the way they want to. That's what makes the United States of America.
God Bless America
Posted by: klockwork at August 1, 2004 12:40 AMI beg to differ in the strongest terms, my fellow American. This country is going down the toilet NOT by MY standards, nor by YOURS, nor by any standard created by man. Ours are not important. HOWEVER, God's standards are, and they are being trampled by the those who share the autonomous, selfish and God-hating attitudes of the people who hawk that hideous T-shirt.
RE: klockwork
Allow me to quote Samuel Adams.
"Where did you learn that in a state or society you had a right to do as you please? And that it was an infringement of that right to restrain you? This is a refinement which I dare say, the true sons of liberty despise."
The United States of America is most emphatically not about "living the way one wants to."
Sadly, there are many who hold to the position that you seem to.
For my part, I shall give you the benefit of the doubt, and assume that you, being blinded by the Zeitgeist, have not thoroughly considered your previous statement.
Carl
I must admit I am being blinded by the ideas of my generation. A generation that refuses to be run by one God, one being, or one's opinion. Because there is no reason why I, or anyone for that matter, should feel bad about myself for my mind thinking the way it does. I realize that we can't live the way we want to. There are some restrictions on things. It's give and take. You win some you lose some. But we are free to explore our horizons. To see what else is out there instead of thinking there is only one way things should be. Look in the mirror my friend. Unfortunatly you are just as blind.
Thanks for the benefit of the doubt.
Good day
