My parents grew up in King County, Washington, (essentially Seattle and the surrounding communities) and we have many relatives living there now. Check the following link
in which a new law that the King County legislature is considering. This is SCARY stuff - the gist is that they have decided that only 10% of YOUR land is useable for building on, and that 65% must be left in its "natural" state. Um... what happened to property rights?
