An Interesting Verse in Matthew 10

Ran across this this morning in my reading:

Matthew 10:23 (ESV)
When they persecute you in one town, flee to the next, for truly, I say to you, you will not have gone through all the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes.

Outside the usual Mount of Olives discourse, here is Christ speaking of the coming of the Son of Man, at least when plainly taken, at a very early time. I think it's rather important to take a serious look at the events of 70 AD in light of this and the Olivet discourse, as to what manner of coming of the Son of Man is intended. I reject the claims of preterists, who argue that his ONLY second coming was in 70 AD - that makes exactly zero logical sense... but I do believe that a coming in judgment, of some kind, seems to fit the Biblical data.
