Isn't it funny how people who stridently hold to a supposedly "neutral" position of "no creed but Christ" or "Bible only" seem so likely to blindly follow someone's teaching on the Scriptures? All this while they accuse "confessionalists" of treating the confession as if it were Scripture....
Can we not be honest with each other, and recognize that we all listen to and take advice from teachers on the Scriptures, as we come to our understanding of it? It seems to me rather arrogant and misguided to claim that "we let the Bible speak for itself."
