More Folly in Cali

Saw the following
example of ludicrous legal games
in California today.

The short version follows: there is in California law, apparently, a
provision in the legal code that allows a person to claim discrimination
if you treat them differently than you should according to their
perception of themselves!

That is, if you require a male person to use a men's bathroom, and that male person claims that he is transgendered, and is in fact a woman, he can claim discrimination. If he/she doesn't like the way you treat him/her, and can somehow tie it to his perception of himself, well then, you've got a case of discrimination on your hands! Personal offense now becomes discrimination. Have we gone beyond the point at which we recognize that sometimes offense is due to OUR reaction to what people say/do, and not solely to their action? Are we so stupid/arrogant? WHAT HAVE WE COME TO!? God help us if this is the way society is going. There will be no objective reality, no standard, no nothing. Oh, if this isn't the sign of a truly degenerating society, I'm not sure what is.
