If it's good enough for...

All over campus are posters for the Red Cross blood drive that is coming up. They feature a cute little infant & a teddy bear, and their main pitch is "Save a life by making the right decision". I very nearly dropped my coffee (those of you who know me realize what a serious problem that would be!) thinking these were pro-life posters... then I saw what their purpose was, and I floated back down to reality. (alas)

If the use of such a compelling image is good enough to elicit blood donations, why isn't it good enough to convince people that abortion is heinous murder? Why do people get so up in arms when private billboards are used to show cute little infants along with a caption "abortion is murder"?

I wonder if it has to do with ultimate priorities? Whom do you serve? God or your own selfish ambition? I wonder...
